When ex-firefighter Scott Nylander and a group of ecologists discover a bomb attached to a silo, which is set to explode. As the group takes cover, the silos explosion causes a huge flaming tornado, which starts to destroy everything in its way. Scott and his friends are accused of being terrorists that caused the explosion. On the run, they have to stop the fire twister, before it destroys LA.
